Very sick ibiza cupra tdi

Hi, I have seat Ibiza cupra tdi 2005 which has been experiencing acceleration problems no power till after 3000 rpm from time to time. Really bad turbo lag intermittently. Vacuum actuator on turbo is moving & holding. No boost leaks either. When first started in the morning it has absolutely no power till the engine has warmed up a little & if booted at all before engine has warmed will go into limp mode. Once engine is at 90C power returns no limp mode but intermittent acceleration problem as stated above.
VAG COM Fault is:
17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation

P1556 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
I have had this car at two different mechanics & they have failed to fix anything
Anyone any ideas before I get tired off it & trade it in? :(

Thanks John

I fixed my mates VW Sharan with the exact fault that you have. The vacuum actuator on the turbo was moving & holding but it wasn't moving enough. After a good spray of wd40 it moved twice as far.

Spray the actuator with WD40 and leave for 1/2 hour to soak

With the engine running use vagcom, 01 - engine, basic settings, group 11 (I think) and leave the VNT actuator cycling for 1/2 an hour

You can do the output tests and when the car stalls, click on next (to cycle the actuator) and listen for vac leaks.
Cheaper than buying a new turbo if it works. If it doesn't you've lost an hour of your time

This is deffo a problem with VNT control, and I would get it sorted ASAP. Your logs appear to be requesting stock boost but actual is going past the MAP sensors limit of 3 Bar and holding. Your turbo won't last at this rate. As already stated, check the Vac pipe going to the actuator for splits.
