I have recently had my Leon Cupra R off the road due to buying another car, so thought it was the best time to have a play around with modifications for it. Have done:
FMIC
3" downpipe with 3" pipework straight through with sportscat
3" TIP (just ordered)
dogbone mount (powerflex)
front anti roll bar bushes
Fired it up the other day for the first time after doing all of the above and noticed quite a distinctive vibration in the interior of the car. Its definately a vibration and not a rattle.
Had a look underneath and the exhaust is nowhere near anything so im pretty sure its not that.
My question is could I be feeling this vibration due to the dogbone mount? Has anyone else had this after fitting an uprated dogbone mount?
Normally I would have done each mod at a time so would have been able to pinpoint which mod it was that caused it but I am at a bit of a loss at the moment
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Before I changed all the bits the car was whisper quiet inside and I would like to return it that way so if it means going back to OEM bushes on the dogbone then so be it.
cheers
