vinyl roof issues?

Hey everyone,

just a quick one to see if any of you guys have had problems on your Mk2 vinyl roof jobs...

I went to a local vinyl wrapper, and he commented that due to there being no channel on the roof (at the sides) he wouldn't guarantee the length of time it will stay on like he usually would (3 years). He said that it would possibly peel after a short time, as theres nothing to wrap around.

anyone had the same problem? or should i just go elsewhere?

Had mine done about 18 months now at a guess and iv not got a problem, he might just be covering his ass but maybe worth going elsewhere

I have noticed similar stuff happening on my wrap jobs.
There is some add on adhesive they should put on the edges of wrap when there is nothing to wrap it under to. That sould do the trick and make it stick. (hey it rimes).
But anyhow if the guy does not know this, maybe you should consider someone else.
