Hi Guys

OK. Let me extend my question a little bit further then. We have 1 VNT17 and 1 VNT20 in our hands and we would like to build a hybrid VNT17/20 unit with them. Which parts we must use from which unit, for instance rotor of VNT17 and the main body of VNT20 etc. ? At which points we must pay attention during this process, Did someone from you make this application before?

I have a 2003 Seat Ibıza Pd130 TDI Sport (VNT17,De-Cat,De-Egr,Cupra Intake,Bıg FMIC,Green Air Filter,DownPipe,Chip Tuning etc.)
I wanted to fit a VNT17/20 turbo pictures.

Making a hybrid turbo isn`t something you just hammer together in your garage. It`s a specilist job that thats best left to the experts that know what they are doing and have the tools which by sounds of things you have niether not that i am trying to be rude. Basically you get a VNT17 body mill it out to take some VNT 20 parts. What parts depends on what type of turbo you are wanting to build. For instants you say you have a VNT17 and VNT20, basically that doesn`t mean a lot. There are lots of different VNT17 and VNT20 turbos on the market which have a mixture of different size compressor wheels and turbine wheels.

GT15-25

Garrett GT15 compact turbocharger is designed for today's small displacement engines. Based on the well-know T2 design, The GT15 family is engineered to provide an economic perfomance boost for small displacement diesel and gasoline engines in passenger cars, light duty trucks and marine applications.

The GT15's application range is for 1.3 to 1.6 liter ( 60 - 80 bhp ) diesel engines and 1.0 to 1.4 liter (85 - 120 bhp ) gasiline engines. The compact packaging makes the GT family ideally suited for twin turbo applications on V-block engines. The GT25, at the high end of the range, can be configurated to match gasoline engines ratings up to 210 hp. The GT17, GT20 and GT22 fill in the flow ranges between the GT15 and GT25.

The Garrett VNT15 ( Now GT17V ) turbocharger is currently featured on the VW 1.9 TDI engine, among others.
