wait til you see the price of the supercharger and engine mods needed first before you think about the job

would have one already on mine if they were turbo cheap but sadly about 4X turbo money ++

Have a look on www.uk-mkivs.net in the forums for A8WPG and his MKIV V6 4-Motion. Its supercharged and running something like 320bhp at present. Gives an idea of what can be done with that engine whilst still feeling "factory" in terms of being smooth and refined.

The 4-wheel drive system would require the boot floor lifting to accomodate the rear diff etc. the Golf and S3 both have shallow boots compared to their 2-wheel drive versions, and the Leon would be the same.

An engine from a mk3 golf wouldn't be the best plan, for a start it will be over 10 years old and ragged to pieces so you will have to completely rebuild it. Better off looking for a mk4 golf engine like a V5(2.3), V6(2.8) or V6(3.2)
