i've had a vtune map on my car, its a k04 conversion with all the mods to suit, boost wise its hitting 14psi over boost and settling at 11/12 psi through to redline, its still a quick little car but not quick enough, i've had it adjusted twice now by the company but im not really that happy, what are my options? its also had a new n75 and coilpacks and there are no fault codes on vagcom, any help would be much appriciated, thanks

Sounds like a poor map too me. Mine hits 21 psi on custom code stage 2.

In my opinion you should stick to a tried and tested map from either revo, custom code, jabbasport or p-torque (or anybody else that i've forgotten with a good track record).

Never heard of vtune myself.

There are a lot of people out there with laptops and cheapo **** bought from ebay.

The only Vtune i know of is the free program used to adjust APR remaps.I use it and its great. You can request more boost from it. Are you sure your turbo has more to give. post up some vagcom logs.

i haven't got vagcom myself but will try get hold of it of someone to get some logs. Hope the turbo's got more in it, its a k04 off a s3/tt 225 with 10k on it, that is the vtune as in the link above

at first i thought my boost gauge could be knackered but after having a little blast against a glanza earlier i know its not as quick as it should be. What are my options now? Is it easy enough to just go to another company who can remap it again?

hi lee im down the road from you in south wales. i took my k03s cupra to bill bager 5 in gloucester
id recomend a custome code, my old k04 cupra held 20psi and it was 278 bhp went very well, price wise your looking at 350 - 400 irc (that was also custom code)

the map you have sounds w**k

it is in very good condition, got 79k on the clock, got coilovers, 17" superleggras sprayed black, all the engine work ko4 etc, new ecu, autogauge boost, oil temp and volt gauges, all the common problems fixed, just done the n249 by pass. Soon as its mapped properly it'll be a nice lil car
