VW Golf Mk3 TDi lack of power / VAG-COM Fault codes

Hello all, been ages since I was last here but nice to see some familiar faces.. Ive moved backwards now to a MK3 Golf TDi (estate) I know, how things change.. I am wondering if someone may be able to help with a Vag-Com fault code that I think is causing reduced power above 2000rpm and a rev spike on start up. No other symptoms. This code wont reset.

1 Fault Found:
01237 - Fuel Shut-Off Valve (N109)
04-00 - Mechanical Malfunction

I have read about an o-ring being in the wrong place?? a plunger stuck?? or a relay malfunction?? Where abouts is this N109??

Any clues would be gratefully received.

yes that looks like the part to me. Should be an easy replacement.

Cheers, will try taking it to bits first and see if that works, failing that, replace it
