VW Golf MK4 Aero Wipers

Any pics of them fitted???

I just fitted new wipers and the driverside one is still juddering. Doing my head in a bit.

So all you done to fit them was cut the end off???

Yeah, pulled the end bit of cut the wiper using snips and a stanley knife then glued the end on again. Looks better dont you think?

How much did you cut off exactly?

about an inch iirc. you will see when you fit the arm and wiperblade on the car

I'm struggling to even get the end cap off..!

it will flip off with the help of a small flat screwdriver. you will need to glue it back on

Got it sorted but was a bit diddly to trim it to glue/ fit the cap back on...

Also is it my imagination or do these wipers clean less of the passenger side than before?!

No they should clear more depending on How much you cut. An inch is spot on and then just glue the cap back on

That's actually quite low. Is it the arm itself that's causing it to miss that much of the screen??

Not sure..I can't see how I could adjust it any better?
I only snipped an inch of the blade and as u can see it wouldn't fit if any longer?!

Just done this mod to mine, absolutely brilliant , have been using the retro type aero blades which are good but as in your pics Rodie, the lower aero arms are so much neater

Can someone measure the length of the passenger side arm???

I just wanna check it against mine.
