Its a bit non stop ✋️. Perhaps it's targeted to give the German factory workers a shock so they fall in line. I'm not so sure about the 5,000 or so Caraid workers if they take Xpeng software and Ravian AI voice... but given past record they got it coming :ROFLMAO:.

I'd blame "visionaries" at the helm and top execs, who probably leaned on VAGs power and had too much wild dreams, not middle managers or developers themselves. Teams need clear and attainable goals.

Well they did send the manager off packing with DieselGate. I think some of the Cupra managers fell on their sword and the Caraid people over mib3. Mib3 they had to turn round quick after Diesel gate to get income and probably thought they could do in place software upgrades but only the infotainment unit gets updated not the control systems. Then you have the customers that think they can do upgrades themselves and tinker with systems that are increasingly locked down.

The visionaries on the Cupra side taken in by tribe marketing so they nicked the name and branded themselves as Cupra Tribe. Still we love those videos of the launches. Middle aged Germanic men trying to be cool.

The Volkswagen Group has filed its worst quarterly performance since the height of the "Dieselgate" scandal in 2015. Share prices climbed in response, however, perhaps because the bad news was so well signposted.
