Warantee work at other VAG dealers

My service beeper is going off but the car isn't due for a serivce. I was just wondering if any other VAG dealer would be able to rest the thing? But more importantly, without a charge?

I've got VW near my work so it would be very convenient.

On the same kind of note, I know that you can get the car serviced at other VAG garages becuase they will have the same equipment but will VW, Audi or Skoda garages be able to do warantee work?

I would be interesated in eveyones thoughts on this as I have a VW dealer less than a mile from work and an Audi dealer 10 miles away but on route. Both my local seat dealers are about 20 miles in the wrong direction

Couldnt see why not, but from talk on here and what i have heard the other dealers except for Skoda will charge at least half more again than the Seat dealer!!

Yes, I think for chargable work Seat should be one of the cheapest, and I have no doubt that Audi would service my Leon at their rates but it's for warantee work where the cost to the customer isn't an issue which is where I'd be interested to know what the situation is.
