warning light buzzer

has anyone had the problem with the light buzzer when ya open your door without the keys in it should buzz to tel ya to turn lights off.

but mine has stopped workin any ideas would be great

The door switch?

Does the interiour light come on when you open the door? If not it could be that.

yer the light comes on thats fine

it buzzers some times then other times it dont which side is the switch on is it on the catch or on the hinge side
