
I agree this is an annoyance.
However I'm much more concerned that there is no low level Oil sensor
Only a low pressure lamp that never illuminates until there is no pressure i hear![]()
What engine was it?
Pretty certain the 1.4TSI engines don't have one :/
I didn't know this either! Are you sure about this as when I picked mine up from the dealership I took mine for a spin. after a while the oil light came on when I was going fast round corners. I checked the dipstick and it was bone dry. when I took it back to the dealership the next day the guy told me that no damage would have been done because the oil light wasn't on??
I phoned SEAT customer service about the 1.2 TSI and they returned the call telling me that there is indeed a low level light (as well as a low pressure one). It's possible that since the 1.4 TSI is older it doesn't have this.
