water in boot

i think(know i no) my washer pipe has come off as the lights are not working on the passenger side,opened the light cover and its soaked,question is how do i remove the inside interior from the boot lid,i have removed 2 screws from the handles u use to close the boot ,but i cant see anything else,tried pulling and hauling to no avail,one of the joints was off at the light cluster put it back on but its still leaking somewhere else

If I remember right, you may have to use a flat blade screwdriver covered in rag or tape and try prying it from the boot. The clips are quite strong and need a little assistance. They can also break if you're too rough.

yes iwas trying to wedge off with screwdriver but no joy quite tough little buggers,will have to leave it to the weekend to try again

Have you pulled the rear seat forward and taken the screw out where the seat clips onto its holder? Its hidden away so you cant see it unless you pull the seat forward.

it does take some pressue to pull the trim off as said its on 3-4 big clips.

The pipes are inside after the trims off. Easy fix. Did mine yesterday in 5 mins! Can see out the back window now!

Take the 2 screws out of the handles on the boot trim, them get a large flat head screwdriver, the biggest you can find. First pull the trim down over the boot latch, then up near the top corner of the boot trim, the part closest to the top of the window, force the plastic down, if you look inside you see 2 clips, spray them with WD40 and use a flat head to dislodge them, do the same on the other side and then give the whole trim a good pull down and it should pop off.

yes i got this one off ok and fixed the pipe where it had separated,i now got dodgy brake light due to the water spraying over the light cluster,inside the tailgate is full of water tho,its that trim i cant get off,,,cheers for replying

ok will try that at the weekend now,will get big screwdriver from work and give it a bash..thanks
