Hi guys, only had my car for just over a month now and had a few problems with it but the dealership has sorted most of them. I have a FR with sunroof and only a few days into ownership I noticed that there was water under the boot carpet so I soaked it up and after a few heavy rain falls it appeared again. so I called the dealership and they took the car in and said there was a torn seal on the sunroof and they replaced it and done a water leak test and it was fine. I have had the car back little over a weak now and again there is more water under the boot carpet. I have let the dealership know and they are booking the car back in for more testing. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? Is there any common places the Leon’s let water in? They have also stated that the rear lights are cracked and are waiting on the parts coming in So they can replace the rear lights. Could the water get in from the rear lights?

Sorry for the paragraph guys just looking for help.

Hi there a have a FR with a sunroof,I had the same problem with my car and took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it.I got a jug of water and poured it onto the sunroof with someone in the car.The water started to pour out the back of the roof lining and into the car.I started to look myself and discovered that one of the rear drain hoses from the roof was not connected.I went back to the dealer then onto customer services which ended a a fight to get new carpets, roof liner and carpet underlay.I got it all replaced the that was 3 years ago all got since.

Thanks, Will be having a look at the car today. Are the drain tubes for the sunroof easy to access ?

You can see the drain pies but they are not easy to get to.The dealer fixed the pipes when they were replacing the headlining.

Had a check around the car and the only thing I can see which looks like a small split/crack on one of the laser welds that joins the roof and rear quarter panel on the drivers side, saw a post on here which someone had said they have saw this before. Might not be the cause of the water ingress but I don’t think this should be there. I can’t upload a photo as have not posted enough yet
