Christ on a dinosaur, I still remember a recent thread titled "seriously quick leon...". You have an incredible appetite for power my friend :)

Yes Badger 5 sell Devils Own kits which are compatible with the 2.0 TFSI.

2zeroalpha,

These kits not only increase power but help the engine prevent pinking and detonation as they run higher octane so it helps in other ways too.

I like to make progress on the road so every little helps. Could any suggest what sort of gains can be had running - say - a 30% mix.

Alreet lanky.

Not sure if anyone's done a 16v, but look at DPj's and RobDon's threads.

"lots" is the answer. Lots of logging and fiddling, though...

I have thought about this as well, but I am not sure just how hard it would be to fit and / or remove and how ugly it would be when fitted. I think the gains would be approx 10-20bhp blade.

You know
that I know
that on that day
your car actually made a lot more than 0.3 bhp than mine.... :D

I don't really know enough about your engine / map to tell how much you could advance your timing.....

But I'd think 25/30 bhp must be within reach...

DanGB has wmi on his Mk2....

Dans made 30bhp more i think, but he is running a bigger turbo and has a special map for it. He never had it running when I was out in his car, but it was quick without it! He is busy at the moment though and possibly unlikely he wont be on much any time soon. Not seen him much on MSN either although spoke to him yesterday on phone.

guys, not trying to hijack thread... but seeing as all the knowledgeable ppl are posting thought id ask... what gains are expected from just a good CAI with a stage 1 map already on a car... if any?

On a Cupra, 15-20bhp. Forge claim 18bhp on their twintake and I am sure ZBoyds lost something similar when he swapped out his Dbilas for his Carbonio/Engine Cover/Uprated Panel filter combination. As less air flows through a 2.0T BWA engine as found on an FR, one would assume 10-15bhp probably.
