Hi guys,

How do you lot go about getting all the water out of the grills and from round the lights etc after you've washed your cars. Im wanting to wash and add a couple of layers of wax to my car this weekend (clayed, clensed and sealed 2 weeks ago) The car gets used everyday so i need to follow washing with the wax. In the summer i usually take her for a spin to blow the water out then go over with some QD but now the roads are sh*tty the car come back just as dirty as before i washed it. Any tips so i dont end up drawing water out with my wax applicator pad.

Cheers,

Matt.

Microfibre towels should soak it up nicely, or use kitchen towl (place it in the affected area and it draws it all out).
A "cheat" i use for drying the car quicker is to use Demon Shine (about fiver for a bottle in halfords). You just put a cap full in a bucket, fill the bucket with cold water and use a jug or something to pour it over the car in sections.
Most of the water runs off leaving less to remove with a MF Towel.
