weird folding cupra mirror

Hi guys
the passenger wing mirror on our cupra folds in electrically but clicks alot when it has stopped folding in like it wants to go further and when i refold the mirror back out it goes out too far and points forward! Any ideas why? The drivers one works perfectly

in the hand book tere is a series of instruction to realign the wing mirror... along the lines of folding them in, starting the engine, folding them out, stoppin engine, fold them in again..
it goes on a bit but i had a similar problem and it fixed it.

"disconnect battery for 5 mins and re connect and the will re learn there in/out postions, very common on powerfold mirros, the mirrors are actually designed to be able to fold in manually aswell "

Well that worked for me as this folding mirror issue started when changing the battery but when I did the mirrors were folded in so folded them out and did above I also did the metal across + and - as lee69 said in this thread

Folding wing mirror problem

So I had to take my door off to replace the hinge and that was all fine I also toke the doorcard off and removed all the cables without pulling any and that was fine , the door was off for about 1 and a half days tops , now when I've reconnected everything back in , my mirrors won't fold out ...
