Weitec Suspension

Thinking about getting some cheapish lowered suspension. Shocks and springs rather than coilies. Heard Weitec is very good for the price.

Has anyone got a Weitec kit? What is it like to live with? Does it improve the handling a lot from the standard?

I had a weitec kit on a mk2 golf. It was firm but not too harsh. The car didn't roll on corners as much and was more stable under braking. Was fine for 3 years till I sold it. It was easy to live with, just had to go slow over sharp speed bumps as the back was really hard and would jump in the air.

The one and only problem was a female friend said it made her large tits hurt in town.

What drop did you get?

I think it was quoted at 20mm because it was a gti. I got them because it was the smallest drop kit i could find. They settled in a week and didn't change again.
