What a rip off door lock

So i will have to bite the bullet and get a new lock fitted then

Tried to get to the lock yesterday but couldn't get the ancillary panel off, do I have to unbolt the lock 1st? did't have tools with me for that so didn't get any further. I figured it would be an MOT fail as you can't open the door from inside either but I have an old friend who'll be MOTing it so I can check with him 1st but want to get it sorted.

i tried that and took lock apart, but looked NOTHING like in the pics, nothing at all, so bit the bullet and got new lock... job done.. got part from tps, trade discount and all, fitted myself..

Mines has went too and I need a new lock. Have you got the TPS part number? How long was the fitting?
