57k though am i missing somthing here. the spec isnt intresting enough with that price tag.
im wondering if you could build one yourself for less than the price.
Mate it's a ex works Seat Sport rally car, its a lighter shell that a production car, the shed is actually built around the cage. To get a ABF engine to that sort of power will run into £10,000's alone, the gearbox is into 4 figure 0's.... look at ex works evo's and scoobies are £70k plus.
End of the day its a rally built car, meant for one thing to rally! Its a only F2 rally car back in the early to mid 90's there was a F2 Rally Championship that were FWD cars with 2.0 lumps tuned to 260-280bhp.... and this is one of them vary animals!!
If you don't know anything about the car then why post such a silly thing.
You build a Ibiza to that spec for cheaper than I would buy it off u for £5k more.... it won't happen basically lol

as you said i dont know anything about the car neither do i claim to which is why i say such apparantly silly things i like to learn about things i dont know about hence what i said.
also surely the age of the car and the amount of rallys it may have done would have taken its toll on the whole car pretty much making it condemed from rally that is just a complete guess but if that is the case it would be more of a 57k show peice.

These cars are usually rebuilt after every rally and the spare parts along are worth a good bit..... eg on Jenk's link it states £1000 a driveshift and he as 5 spare and I wouldn't even like to think how much some of the other spares he has.
And again if you read the link you see how much different they are compared to yours or mine.
I've seen a Super Six Ibiza (Ibiza used for rallying but more like the production cars.... shares a lot more to the production car than the F2). With loads of spares and that was up for £27k.
Say if I had a MSA Logbook for my Ibiza I would be able to sell it much more because it's ready for rallying, etc.... example of what I mean a mate had a 106 Rallye (16v) sells for what £1800-£2500 with a MSA Logbook they going for £4-5k and thats just a road car spec'd for rallying nothing like that F2
now i have an understanding of the car i can understand the price that still dont stop me thinking the price is massive but with what you get with it i suppose its not all that bad if the the retail of a driveshaft is a thousand pound and he has 5 then the super exspensive parts must be that price for a reason obviously.
