Anything will fit with enough persuasion, but seeing as the floor pans are different it wont drop straight in.
damn, ill leave that then.... theres one for a mk2 golf on ebay that looks pretty spot on for 30 quid!
The only thing putting me off is the 5hr round trip to go and get it, but if its going to be a bit of a chore* (sp?)

i know how you feel chief. i made an 8hr round trip on thursday to pickup some alloys... (glasgow to newcastle & back!) on that occasion it WAS worth it tho!!

its revo kev that has it in his possession, he just replied, so he does have it, back end of a full cage, in a matt black i do believe?
If its yours, anything i should know?

Nothing wrong with it at all, I picked it up from the people that run the BTCC cars now, they prepped & deprepped the SEAT UK track cars - where this one came from (circa 1998)
I sold it to Saul, who fitted it to his Cordoba, who sold the Cordoba to Kev, who took it out when he used it day to day
Never used in anger though, so it's "OK"
Plus if you buy it it saves it going full circle into the van
On a different note, Doug's MK2 Golf is due back from Custom Cages any day now... been seam welded and has a full on cage put in (as in like mine but with a bit more metal!) That's going to be an awesome machine!

thats just a show cage is that mate, not much good on a rolling car,but CAN look cool, i like them in chrome...
