Kumho Ecsta KH11 is what I have I think (I'll double check the exact model of them tomorrow) £94 for 2. They're at the budget end of the scale, but pretty damn good. Far better than the crap that was on before, which I belive caused the little bump I had!!!

I don't actually remember what they were, but I googled them at the time I bought the wheels (they came on the wheels) and couldn't find anything about who made them, says it all really.

To be fair they were getting low on tread, but still above 1.6mm, in the wet they were completly useless.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 here. have had Yokos before, sticky but wore fast. Considered Proxies but heard they wear fast too. Whilst some tyres might be great in the dry, you gotta remember - you live in England (probably) - so get good wet tyres - hence the Eagles

i need to replace the two fronts on my new cupra wheels im gunna put on my 1.4s,

the guy i bought the wheels on said he bought two new tyres for 180 each about a month before but the other 2 are pretty worn, the thing is do i really need to spend alot of money on 2 tyres for a 1.4?? would it be worth it as im not getting any performance anyway its more just a smart looking car than a speed machine,

wot would people recomend on a very low budget??

Doesn't matter how slow a car is, decent tyres are a must! They're the only thing between you and the road!!!

I always budget for about £50 a tyre.

The more you spend, the more likely your car will stay on the road.
