Hhmm i dont know whether to do that or be without my car for a three days! I mean it will be cheaper not having my car to be honest but i dont really want to have to do that?

About the pre-treating before powder coating, I'm not quite sure what you mean. All parts need to be shot blasted before powder coating but that is the only pre-treatment necessary.

The parts then have an electric charge applied to them and are sprayed with powder. Then it is all baked in an oven. So you have to make sure there are no rubber or plastic parts on the pieces you're getting done.

Alex the place im having my manifold polished (gsm) has a massive workload, ive sent my manifold off a few weeks ago and expect to receive it end of next week.

I'd be surprised if you find an automotive polishers or powder coaters with a few days turnaround.

With the show season on us every man and his dog is wanting bits polished or chromed etc so you can expect to wait longer

The place i just called said they only need the bits for three days ;)

Just make sure they are aware that the rocker cover has oil under high temperature slushing around underneath it.

Might affect what type of powder coat they put on it maybe???

Dont know but best to check
