I took advantage of a rare sunny day here in the North East.....lol

A spot of spring cleaning and the summer wheels cleaned and re-fitted. It is still looking pretty good for a three year old car.......... :D

Detailed my car yesterday ready for summer. :funk:

Snow foam, clay bar, acrylic sealant and a wax. It's looking spot on!

I also painted my wing mirrors black the other week which you can see. It's slightly orange peally, but I'm borrowing a polisher off a mate so that should sort it out.

Water sand the mirror covers and then polish.
That's probably what I'll end up doing. I will try to cut it using strong compound first and then polish. If that doesnt improve it then I'll wet sand and polish.

FINALLY managed to code the lock beeps with VCDS 17. Whatever it is now. Tried many times before and it just wouldn't give me the option on the stereo! Made my day. Also got a video of my new powervalve catback which I might upload to here sometime.

I've also tried a few times without any luck so what did you do differently?

Nothing really, which was annoying. Just used the newest version of VCDS (I have genuine) and activated the things that you that it tells you to in the guide and this time I got the option in the stereo. No idea why it didn't work before. The car hasn't been to the dealers either so no chance it had a software update that has affected its ability to enable this feature

Afternoon fitting the triple r composites splitter. Few scuffed knuckles but worth it I'd say

Any difficulties in doing this? Is it bolted on or glued? If bolted are there pre drilled holes and how was access? I did see a post on this feed I. Believe from a while back guy got this and side skirts fitted and painted for 250 ring a bell for anyone?
