I waved goodbye to the BCA man that came to inspect and take away my MK3 Leon, it was a lovely car for the three years I had it - very reliable and a thoroughly nice drive.

The MK4 arrives tomorrow, now I have to move forums as well...

Gave it a clean today and removed all the wheels for the first time since I got the car in January to give them a proper clean.
Also fitted the metal sports pedals & footrest that I got. They were from AliExpress but very good quality and fit. Took about 2 weeks to arrive. Can just see them in the last photo

Soundproofed all four doors, under rear seat and boot floor. Seems quieter and music is definately better. Just need to work out how take the trim off to get to rear arches now.

Did all this to mine earlier in the year. Massive difference.

To get to the rear arches you need to remove the trim next to the where the seatbelt bolts into the body, the one with the clip to hold the belt, remove the bolt for the seatbelt(M8 or M10 Spline, can't remember), then remove the 2 screws in the C pillar trim(remove light on drivers side).
It should then pop off using a trim removal tool. I started in the bit around the small side window and worked my way back.

Cool. Thanks very much.

I had a couple of productive days :) I installed part of the Graficar interior vinyl set, as well as retrofitting a sunglasses-holder to the glovebox. I'm very satisfied with the result! (More pics and info here; https://www.drive2.com/l/587586436660766049/ )

And I installed a Ragazzon center muffler delete pipe last week. The exhaust sound now sounds a bit sportier, but not too much. Now I'm in doubt if I should replace the back box as well... but I haven't decided yet. (more pictures and info here: https://www.drive2.com/l/587313208021225802/)

Found a good price for the chrome key cap so decided to take a gamble and order one.
Not sure if they're genuine but they look it
Here's the link if anyone's interested:

Will post a pic later
