Best mod mate, and so easy to do. Think it took me longer to make a brew (always have one before starting anything , its the law ;) ) than it did to do it. And if can do it..... :D

Saw my first other MK3 Cupra on the road this morning - a Monsoon Grey ST with Orange Pack driving through Towcester. I did wave but I'm not sure they saw me as I was behind a lorry and they were fiddling with something on the dash.

Not today, but at he weekend I fitted the fan washer jets that I'd ordered from eBay. Took about 30secs to do and a huge improvement!

Also gave it a good wash using some new gear that I'd bought (new wash mit, grit guards and drying towls), then gave it a good wax. Looks lovely now!

Gave my baby her first wash. When I collected from dealer I wasn't particularly happy because it was already dirty so this is the first time I've seen it clean!

met up with Ocularis yesterday and he did some VCDS mods for me.
top man - thanks, Kris:)
So - mirrors now fold on lock, Carbon background to info display, reduced sound actuator to 30% (can now use "sport" mode :)) and a 2-sec delay on headlight wash when screen being washed.

Sat and listened to the radio with dismay about the two British guys in the Leon Cupra who died up in the alps yesterday.

Anyone know how to take the black bit off?

In another thread someone mentioned that you couldn't wrap the black bit successfully because there is a texture to it and the wrap won't stick to it properly (I was in the process of measuring up and working out how to get the black bit out when I read the thread...) The black bit appears to be held in place by a series of broad clips but they aren't easily accessible and I chickened out of prising them apart for fear of breaking one/all! It would be easier to mask and plastidip the panel I reckon but I was wanting to 4D carbon wrap it so... Might have another look sometime and will post pics if I work out how to do it damage-free.

Maybe try hydro dipping it?

Drove the 'rents from Manchester to London for a wedding over the weekend...and did it with less than a full tank! Pretty happy with that. The journey there took ~6 hours on Friday :rifle: Got very, very close to scratching the rear wheel when I was reverse parking, relieved isn't the word lol.

I got my front, roof and mirrors done for £275

Not too bad. Would only be interested in the front and mirrors so should be quite a bit less than that.

Whereabouts did you get it done as I'm not too far from you I don't think?

I've been thinking of getting this done myself, as well as the wing mirrors.

How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
Guy done it for £40 yesterday for me but gave him 50 as it was a brillaint job and a wee bit cheaper than expecting. Quoted 80 for the mirrors and 120 for the roof.
