what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Off to pick the car up from its major service. Quite pleased to have snuck a new boot release handle in by a day under my warranty. Curios if anyone else has had any problems reported back when it come to changing spark plugs. My dealer informed me that there was trouble removing the coil overs. All the mechanics were somewhat perplexed by them. So they are ordering new coil overs before they change the plugs incase they break the current ones on removal. Been assured it's just a precaution to ensure I get my car today. Any similar tales?

Picking the car up this morning after having its 2nd service. Had a 17 reg Mii FR as a courtesy car while mine was in for its service so was glad to get back into the cupra :)
But having to take it back in over a weeks time to have the near side rear brake light replaced due to water droplets inside the lens :(

Reduced body roll does sound appealing... how are those springs with pothole filled roads though?

As I've found the FR suspension on 18" rims can be a bit rough on my spine compared to my old Focus Zetec on 17" rims... although maybe I'm just getting old

My dad has a new Focus Zetec S with the standard 17's and it's like a limo compared to my Leon FR on 18's.

I went for a cruise up to the lakes with my mate. Him in the classic 3 series, me in the modern leon. It makes me want a classic!

Ordered a set of michelin pilot sport 4s for the cupra and getting them fitted wednesday. Very excited as reviews seem great. Got 12500 miles out of the continentals so not too bad although fronts are rather bald now

As my winter wheels were put on within a few hundred miles of getting the car, I decided that it was time to clean the 'normal' 19" ones in preparation for the change back. Hopefully I've done a good job as they are stupidly hard to get properly cleaned.
Luckily that's the only bad point about the car though lol.

Went to the Zoo; missus came along too

Then washed the Leon after, got the carpet extractor out and did all the seats and carpet to freshen up the fabric a little as I'm guessing the previous owner smoked..
