Needed a jump start at 4am after getting back from Cyprus to find a flat battery courtesy of my automatic dash cam...
Only away for a week but parked where the cam would have been on and off all week and forgot about turning it off.
Not good when it was 1°c.. Brrrr.
Thankfully the car park offers a courtesy jump-start service, phew!
In case anyone was curious, I don't think it cuts the systems to save battery (I.e. Cig lighter fuse)... I only say think as it wasn't 100% dead but certainly didn't even have half a go at starting..

Parking mode on the dash cam should monitor the battery voltage and turn off when the battery is getting low. Is yours directly wired to the battery with no power monitor on the cable?

That would have been handy feature that while, I'm sure I've read somewhere, I'm guessing it doesn't have, although it is piggybacked onto the permanently live cigarette lighter fuse.

Fitted the R600 with turbo elbow and silicone hose, not a simple drop in but it’s in, sounds good. Looking forward to getting out a proper run.

Pleased with how much cable I managed to hide away in the huge Spanish gaps between the panels. The only visible part is just before the camera.

Just got back from a week driving around France and my FR didn’t miss a beat. An absolute breeze on French motorways and on their bumpy rural roads.

Fourth time taking a Leon on a European road trip and always a joy without any problems, plenty of room in the back to bring back cheese and wine too!
