what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Probably the wrong place to ask this if you’re taking or doing it on a UK or Mexican road.OK so my brother has challenged me for a race tomorrow. Rolling race obviously. He has a stage 2 VW Beetle 2012, tuned and downpipe. Based on the MK6 GTI with a K06 turbo, 200 hp stock. Tuner says around 300 hp and 460 nm based on previous dynos but not dynoed his car. DSG gearbox, 6 speed. He is about 200 kg lighter.
What do you think?
Edit: Mine is a Leon Cupra ST 4Drive with JB4 map 6 and MST full intake, should be around 360-370 hp.
If you’re doing it on track then the numbers suggest:
Cupra 4drive ST 1557kg with 350hp =
225hp per tonne.
Going off of your figures on the beetle:
Beetle 1357kg with 300hp =
221hp per tonne.
But as yours has more drag not only as weight but on the drivetrain as well, he may have the edge.
Where he has you though is torque. This is going off of the official JB4 figuresAh yes should be close, we'll see tomorrow.Not testing on public roads, don't worry.

Going off of your figures on the beetle:
Beetle 1357kg with 300Hp/460Nm =
221hp per tonne.
339Nm per tonne.
And if we go off the offical kerb weight not your figures:
Beetle 1230kg with 300Hp/460Nm =
243hp per tonne.
374Nm per tonne
But this is all assuming his tuners figures are accurate of course.

Just checked, weights are closer than I thought. His is a Beetle Convertible, official figures say 1530 kg with driver and fuel compared to 1614 kg in mine.
Mine being 4wd it will not be as efficient as fwd once moving but since it is a DSG 7 the gear ratios will be beneficial compared to DSG 6 which he as, at least in the 60-120 mph range.

Took the car out to get some photos after cleaning and putting the dogs on. The rest of my mods are due to turn up soon. Just waiting for some time to get the car to the body shop.
Topped up the coolant tank with G13 plus Quantum Mixing Water, after spotting some fluid on driveway by driver's door.
Hopefully just a bit of air in system, as I spent £700 having the coolant pump replaced last autumn (P2681 fault code) which left my car out of action for a week.

Put the EZmods front overlays on which dont require a photo as most people know what they look like.
Went to fit fan washers, easiest thing ever, tried them out and what a load of p*sh, I think I will actually order OEM instead of far east knock offs

Quite glad im slender and had a little look underneath for the Dog mount to see what version I need and safe to say it had been ordered.

Nothing else to do..
The gauge is a AEM x-series obd2. The problem is that it don't show me the oil temp and the manifold pressure show 0. Hope AEM find some solution but I'm not so optimistic.

Got up at 5.00am. Quick coffee then off for a blast whilst the roads were quiet.
God this car is fun in cupra mode. 120 miles later i thought it was time to go home but not before a pic or 2.

Fitted a dogbone mount yesterday since I had some free time
not too difficult at all, other than 25minutes with a junior hacksaw blade to remove the old one. took it our for a spin, a little bit of vibration in reverse but oh so worth it! Smother gear changes and no wheel hop.
Going to replace my disks and pads today, had everything delivered over a month ago so ready to go.
Probably wash and clay bar it after that.
