DIY fitted Front and rear yellow stuff pads fitted with black Mtec hook disks. Bedding in might take a while especially on the rear. Messing about more with odb11 the more I look the more a false sense of confidence i have lol

Gave mine a wash, polish and ceramic coating on Monday, had to wait until today for rain. Love the beading.

Busy week for the Cupra
Monday - 3rd year service
Wednesday - replacement third break light under warranty and infotainment software update
Thursday - MOT which was meant to happen with service but got postponed as third brake light would of been MOT failure
Friday - Fitted rear footwell lights just waiting for red leds for front and rear

This month I had the maxton diffuser and milltek gpf-back fitted. Mechanic told me it was a pita to fit the diffuser (as other members have stated).
Imho it looks 10 times better, loving the MUCH louder pops, will post a video soon. ?

Three weeks ago I placed an order for a set of copper BBS ci-r 8.5*19 with 245/35 yokohama advan A052 tires. Finally they arrived and fitted them yesterday.
They clear the stock brakes fine but rubbed a lot on comfort and a bit less in sport or cupra mode (car isn't lowered). So I had the hard plastic thingy that's like a mini mud guard (does it have a proper name?) trimmed, so they don't rub anymore, problem solved. ?

Next mods before summer: stage 2 ecu tune, tcu tune, some bits in 3M golden copper vinyl, racingline Stage 3 BBK (not sure if I'll need spacers).
Better pics after washing when the weather gets better.

Well it seems I will be the second greek magnetic grey Cupra with copper wheels...only thing is I went for OZ Ultraleggeras in 18".

I guess the BBSs are ET45 so they will probably clear the bbk. Racingline kit should be as wide as PP Brembos, more or less. Thing is that 8.5" width plus a spacer will be rubbing even without the plastic thingy. You can definitely forget lowering the car.

Passed its MOT this morning.
Advisory for front brake pads wearing thin, any recommendations for uprated discs & pads for a Cupra 300 with the standard callipers?
I’ve just replaced mine today with RTS Performance j-hook discs and EBC Yellow Stuff pads front and rear. Also upgraded to braided brake hoses and performance fluid.

I will let you know how I get on in a few days when I’ve bedded them in.

Yes ET45. Thing is I want the stage 3 kit with the 6pots. I'll email them and see if they can give me the dimensions so my brake guy can check.
I'm also concerned about rubbing with a spacer even the 5mm one from racingline (cool design that works like a hub centric). Hopefully I won't need one.
I don't plan on lowering it, however.

So, after complaining about the spec change to Copper mid-way through my build in 2018, I’m now all-in.

Standard Cupra calliper logo plates are obsolete, nil stock in the UK, so got these Copper font plates from a seller in Poland. Genuine, not 100% sure, but fitment was easy, and the interference fit collar from the originals came off easily for re-use. OEM ones in the pack come with the collar.

Changed the key fob battery

Note to self, don't trust Google. First search said 2032. Order placed, open up key, 2025. Oh the 10 pack I already have

If I remember correctly 2032 will fit and last a bit longer than the 2025. Just a little thicker battery that’s all
