Emailed both Seat Warranty and Seat HQ for updates on anything on Friday... Total silence...

So I popped in to the dealership (as a passenger, still no courtesy car) where the car is sat with it's heart ripped out and it has moved from one side of the site to the other but still no engine, no sign it has even been ordered and Workshop manager had left for the day by the time I got there but was assured I'd get a call today at some point....

That's rubbish, sorry buddy.

Have they called yet? If not, is it worth giving them a buzz to find out what's going on?

Not the time to get all 'FaceBook Karen' yet, but would be good to remind them that you're the one being inconvenienced here, and would appreciate some sort of timescale as to the car being fixed.

Good luck!

Not exactly today, but I had the clutch and flywheel replaced, that stung my wallet a bit!
This is my first DSG car, and I was really hoping they didn't find anything wrong with the rest of the gearbox, mechatronic etc, but all good 😅

Well for me it was a good day as I purchased two new PS4S Tyres in readiness for first track day of the year.

Will order some proper semi slicks next for the track set of wheels as those tyres are now nackered.

Just to add to the above conversation as I am retired every day is a weekend, something for those of you still working to look forward to - top up that pension.

Does it make any difference to the sound.
0% off course. I have a cutout valve for some sound-on-demand. But I am contemplating buying a BullX catback exhaust with ECE certification.

There is quite a crackdown on loud exhausts in the Netherlands. If you get caught, then they render your car invalid and you need to bring it back to standard and get it MOT'ed again. Loud exhausts with the ultra loud pops have become so popular here, and people are done with it.
