I need a proper cleaning but first pic of new exhaust tips and diffusor. Looking amazing
Will get a wash sometime soon then can take more pics. Don't have the underside images right now but will post them later along with sound comparison of launch control.

After driving last night I have to admit the straight core absorbsion style end silencers made it noticably louder even in comfort, plus it added noticable cabin drone now. The fact that the wife commented she heard me come home from inside the house probably is a bad sign :ROFLMAO:
I even got the silencers variant with embossing. Might have to fit a single valved chamber silencer after the DP to make her quiet again for cruising and casual driving.

@ArchNemeziz The quad oval tips are looking good! Drone is really annoying, I hope you get that sorted 👍

In the Netherlands police are cracking down on loud cars, if they catch you, then you need to go back to stock and get the car MOT'ed again before you can drive it again. That is why I am keeping my cutout valve on the stock catback :sneaky:

Need to measure space directly after the DP to see if RM motors chamber silencer with electric valve (EV05) would fit in there. That should fix the noise issue without losing the option to have it, but I hope im not chasing a unicorn at this point.
Fair warning just buy a valved full exhaust system designed for your car if you want to be sure of the result before hand without taking too many chances 🙃

I still have all the stock parts on the garage shelf, but I dread thinking about that at this point after all the effort and money spent :stars:
I also hear in Estonia they want to start reading OBD for actual values from sensors during technical inspection... Supposedly this is coming in a couple years. That would be the doom of many customized cars but I'm sure someone will find a way to fool them.

In the Netherlands they do a OBD "Readiness" test with regards to emissions (2006 and newer), but you can fool it by making the ECU always return an "OK" value. If the value is not OK, they will perform an exhaust emission test (measuring carbonmonoxide etc).

Yeah it was a concious choice. Perfectly good metal for now so no need to waste it. I'm not looking under the car all day anyway so visually it doesn't matter for me.
Those tyres are on their last days. Already have a new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 arriving estimated beginning of November.
Current are asymmetric 5 and they have even been on Nürburgring :p very good tyres.

Today I recorded some clips of me revving, driving off from standstill and driving past. The revving is done with valves closed and open in comfort and Cupra mode. The driving off and driving by is done with valves open and Cupra mode. The camera does not pick up the sound too good when valves are closed. On camera it sound tinny but in real life it is definitely not. It is deep but not too loud. Cupra mode is from what my brother says loud but doable from outside. The pops on standstill and DSG farts make it loud.

As for the rest I have been working on getting Carplay maps work in the cluster. The first version already worked for a week but now working together with other people to make a better version. I will share more about that later since there are some bugs still.
