What does everybody think of plates this size?

Andybody know of any pics of an LCR with a square plate on the front? Wouldnt mind seeing what that looked like.

Have a normal 7 character number plate so wouldnt be able to loose much by cutting it down.

I think it would look wrong. Behind the plate is a rectangle section designed to have the plate screwed into. If you had a square front plate you would see this section on either side of the plate, which - depending on the colour of the car - would look horrible IMO.

Got that on mine, only illegal if the font size is too small. Wanted to do it on the back but some numptey had put screws in the ends of the plate.

Take some time over cutting them your self and wet sand the edges. Save your self £30.

Ive also got a 3/4 size front plate done in 3D style. Looks great and suits the leon.

hey numberplate buddy , wicked plate chap, looks really good on the car doesnt it Sad thing is i knew my numberplate neighbours too..L70NCR and L90NCR...im such an annorack..lol...
and the reason you couldnt get CR mate is cus i have it..

I have a friend with an old Saab, number plate is Exxx LCR.

I told him he may be able to sell it to someone with an LCR. what do you guys think? would anyone want that?

i dont think i would buy it tbh, but if he has nothing to lose why not try EBAY? someone may give him something for it??? just a thought chap.

well he got the car for about £500, so He doesn't have much to lose - its an 18 yr old 900 turbo

yeah I noticed but I meant any CR in any combo. Saw one on ebay but I think it went for about £600. I got mine for £250 straight off the DVLA. Should get my money back or more when the car goes

Now guys just ordered small front plate for mine to help with max air flow into front bumper plus the LCR looks poop with normal size front kept normal size bk so ppl can see its me when i leave them dead. A few issues with the plate shop bout the leagality of small plates but told them its for show only and there quite a understanding shop haha. Yeah J cupra the guy at our local halfords as a red LCR with square front i wouldn't bother personally plus when you get that FMIC think o the restriction of cool air fow offer it.

Yeah that was Ice Maiden from on here selling her's. She brought a better one. I should think you will easily make your money back on that fella, what a bargain price, i paid 500 for mine.
