different stage 1 maps give different figures, i personally think that is a tad low but you need to consider different rollers will also give different figures so 250 bhp on that roller may be 260 bhp on a different one so i wouldnt worry!!

they says the car was running lean and the boost was low about 18 would that make any diference if this was sorted

Do you mean use their rolling road or get a star remap? I'd personally stick to CC, Revo or AmD myself...

Anyway most dynos aren't accurate so your cars probably okay anyway :)

most dyno's arnt 100% accurate, mines even gone from 181, to 268 in the difference of 2 dynos' after that i gave up when the chap told me he could put my car right just trying it on saying it had low bhp.

you wont go wrong with the custom code, revo or amd etc, maps. stick to the popular remaps and you wont go wrong, when you have joe bloggs down the road remap it for 50 quid on his laptop you know its just going to be poor software.

make sure you have no boost leaks, no problems with the car, get it checked all over at a specialists and go from there, get some logs done to see what sort of boost pressure and air flow you are getting, get it diagnostic scanned and checked for fault codes to see if the ecu has stored any problems.

but then again car is probably fine, could have took it on another dyno and it made 260, and you would of been hapier then but still figures dont matter its dyno lottery.

i made 250.7bhp and 251llb torque with cc stage one, ram air filter, 007p and milltek cat back. only boosting 18psi. cc say it should be 22-23 and making 265-275. the low psi is the problem, currently looking for a boost leak to rectify it. mate had same prob in his ibiza and also a friend had same prob on his focus rs, both caused by faulty actuators! so that may also be the cause? hope this helped

No physically use Star map, well well proven and they have got the best out of a KO3s.
252BHP, now start the arguing over KO3S's not being able to mke over 240 BHP, lol

hard pushed sometimes to get 250 from a k04 lcr realistically so thats really pushing the figures out but we wont go into that. if its only boosting to 18 have you checked with custom code what it should be? also check for boost leaks then, do you have a forge 007p valve with yellow spring.. thats first thing to do. check for split hoses, there are loads that can split and can be very hard to see even though you have looked over them. best to make a device to clamp onto one of your pipes, like a baked bean can with a air line end attatched to it put pressure into the system using a regulator or tyre inflator and it should soon show up the leak. think they sell something like this on ebay, leak detector for turbo..

might need to upgrade the spring then if its the standard one, wont be strong enough to hold the boost so you need the one up

Could you ask the garage who did the remap to have a look first - they might find something if there is a problem (remember it could just be the dyno). Out of interest what were your torque and power figures at the wheels?

Hiya mate had mine cc stage 1 this year at the hq in Feb, couldnt go on thier rollers as the floor had cracked due to a flood. Anyway had mine on a set of rollers near me that had been calibrated the week before and i made 239bhp at the flywheel and 290ft/lbs of torque. Was made up with the torque figure but not so much the bhp. Emailed cc and they told me 'from the logs off your vehicle on the day we did the software we were making approx 195g/s with 1.5bar spike and holding approx 1 bar towards the top end dependant on load'. Sorry dont know what 1.5bar is in psi. I then went back to the guy who roaded my car and he show me that the figure you want to look at its at the wheel as the flywheel figure is calculated by adding your losses onto the at the wheel figure if u get me! He then said you could take it back to cc and have it roaded there but if they have there losses set at a higher percentage then you would get a better flywheel figure. SO basically i came to the assumptions the car feels miles quicker im pleased with it even though the bhp shoulda been 265-270 according to cc and that rolling roads are a waste of time and money just for power runs!!!!!!

im happy with the car but im wanting them to sort out the boost and the car running lean then i'll be happy

I hope you get it sorted mate but your making better bhp than me but as i sed flywheel figures can be whatever the guy doing the run wants it to be. The guy who did mine changed my losses from something like 33% to 50% and my car was then running 290bhp at the fly!!!

By the way what was your at the wheel figure think mine was 186bhp.
