what function on this guys MFD

btw, it also looks like the turbo boost readings are being displayed on the mfd. thats at very beginning of the video. had to watch it a second time

There is a black box type thing that you can add to the MFD its called a Vario Plus Ultra, quite expensive and not very reliable and can cause big problems...

If you read the reviews on the Vario Plus unit, there are 5 bad reviews, for every 1 good one. Seems like a lot of money for something which is likely to cause issues.
