I'm not sure if it was the cold weather or not but here goes anyway.......
Left the house about lunch time - the car had already defrosted itself and the scooshers were working.........drove 15 miles using them now and again as there was a lot of spray off the road..........but by the time I arrived where I was going, the scooshers had completely given up the ghost.........ok, i thought, maybe they have frozen after driving......
Anyway, I parked the car in a multistory car park for about an hour........when I came out they still didnt work. I had to pop into a garage to get the exhaust mount welded, so it was up on a ramp for nearly an hour (under a heater), but still didnt work.
There was plenty screenwash in the bottle by the way!
Anyway, I stopped to see if the nozzles were frozen..........poured warm water onto them then a bit of de-icer........but still nothing! They sound like they are trying to work but nothings coming out........but I would of thought that any screenwash already in the pipes would of defrosted by that time, if they were frozen at all.
Now the screenwash warning light is on, as it always does when it needs topped up, but its full to the brim..........its just not registering that theres any in there.
I did wonder if the pipes might have split or something.........but I'm not sure how to get into them.
Anyone have an ideas?!
