I was thinking of getting my LC180 remapped shortly after xmas i have modded slightly ie intake and dv what kind of bhp can i expect after the remapping?
 
200-210 ish on a stage 1 220-240 on a stage 2

Search is your friend ;)
 
Your ko3s turbo will only be good got 250 max best bet is stage two map 3" downpipe full cat back system hi flow manifold fmic sillicone tip and hoesess 007p That will be your best power gain ;)
 
how much do you want to spend.

205 you can get from a good remap and the cheapest mod for gains to be had.

after this it gets expensive and gains are not as cheap or as significant.

forget the 250bhp, its cheaper and easire to save up for an LCR which you can get 260bhp with a simple remap.

Everyone is different, but imo spending loads to get 250bhp out of a k03s cupra is silly when the LCR with better suspension and brakes to match is available.

How much are the LCR turbos and would it just fit straight on?

id guess at £400 or go hybrid.

The k04 (turbo on LCR) does not bolt straight on. there are lots of things that would need to be done.
again likely cheaper to get an LCR.
there is more than the following different from the cupra to cupra R engine but differences include:
turbos
inlet pipework and maf is larger on lcr.
routing of pipework is different, (eg inlet manifold is other way around on LCR)
LCR has two intercoolers, cupra 1.
larger injectors on LCR.
different manifolds to mathc turbos,
larger downpipe / exhaust on LCR..
different compression ratios (i think)
theres more but..
 
You would need loads of lcr bits for that mod. Etc inlet mani, fmic or do a 2 smic conversion diferent exhaust mani. Injectors....
 
For ko4 conversion you been as said

Bigger injectors
Lcr tip
Lcr maf
Fmic
Custom downpipe
It needs to mapped in
And there's more but I can remember :(

To get more from your ko3s you can hybrid it witch you will need to get done by the pros it will cost you about £2500 all in at badger 5
 
Sod that thanks for the advice lads i did want an LCR just got the LC for a v good price and took it as didnt have a car at the time so settled for the LC im not overly fussed on huge bhp id like 250 :D but i understand thats a push so might just do stage 1 then save for an LCR unless anybody wants a swap id be more than happy :D
