What if your remapped ECU got stolen?

I we all have thought bout not declaring remaps to insurance as they (debateable yes) cant find the upgrade but what if your ECU is stolen and then you claim off the insurance for a new one... but what about the remap


..note . why anyone would steal your ECU though. dont think it would happen but was just thinking.

I would imagine the dealer would reload the software if you show them the receipt?
