What kind of Oil

Hey Folks could u please tell me what Oil u recomend for my LCR its due a 40k service and should i use Iridium or platinum spark plugs

I done a service on my Lc today with 79k miles and used 0w - 30w fully synthetic long life oil with platinum spark plugs

I use Castrol Edge 5w 30, its long life but gets done every 10k!
Lots of folk on here use Millers I used to use SyntaGold but its hard to find!

Just done a service on my Leon Cupra I used Castrol 0w - 40w oil and Platinum Plugs. Seat do recommend Platinum Plugs which will cost about £20 for all 4.

pop into GSF, and pick up some fully synth Fuchs 5w30 and some Bosch Platinum spark plugs, for about £46 all in

i was thinking about using mobil 1 0w40 and bosh platinums would that be ok
