some nice cars. my first car was a mk1 1.1i 5 door saxo, was sad to see it go when i did as i had put a lot of time and effort into it but in a way am pleased it has gone, someone brought it locally so i still see it every now and then

I'm obviously older and change cars less frequently than most people who've replied to this thread as I don't have any digital pics of my old cars...

My first was an E-reg Mini cityE that I bought in 2000, Loved it to bits - literally until some idiot in a company astra decided to pull a U-turn into my left wing in 2001.

Then I had a Mk3 fiesta 1.3 boring as hell box which I got in a hurry and then sold in 2002 so I could get a 1998 Mk4 Fiesta 1.4 GhiaX. Which despite what people say about fiestas I loved. It didn't look much but was way faster than my current Ibiza.

Got the Ibiza earlier this year. I love it, I love its looks and it's handling - just wish it had a bit more power... but it is the only car that I've ever owned that any of the manufacturers warrantly left on!!

Just got it back from the garage and after a courtesy car which was a 1.1 saxo the drive is a 100 times better in my ibiza and looks a 1000 times better!

Heres a few of my previous cars !!

R5 GT Turbo... Favourite car of all time as I wanted one since I was at school !!

Mk2 Fiesta XR2....Most reliable car ive ever had !!

Escort RS Turbo....Handle crap but pulled like a train with the boost up !!

Rover 220 GTi......Rare and cheap...Reliable apart from oil leak from HG common fault !!

Mk2 Fiesta XR2...Well slow engine was knackered !!

Mk2 Fiesta XR2 with 1800cc from Sierra...Great fun to drive as no-one expected it to pull like it did !!

Rover 220 Coupe....Not the fastest car but I loved the way it looked !!

Toyota MR2 Turbo Rev3.....Fast and scary rear wheel drive turbo power but drunk like a fish !!

Skoda Octavia VRs.... Fast but handled like a boat !!

The current beast... A good all rounder between economy, performance and looks !!

Sorry i used to love saxos and how easy they were to do up, but i had 3 Saxos and after writing the 3rd one off at just 30 mph. I def wouldnt touch another one if someone paid me. The build quality compared to a Seat is CRAP

Decided to cut my losses a few weeks ago and bought an Ibiza Sport TDi

Not regretting the final move one bit! Though I wish I still had the 106!!
