I would of thought thats a good price as i think the cam belt is a bitch of a job to do, good few hours work!

yea saves me trying n naffing it up. they said 2-3 hours. cheapest wud be £40 if all goes well, £60 at most if run into any probs

my 20vt fr is now at 47k, no major issues. Had to replace map sensor (£30), wishbone bushes done, its had its servicing and belt and pump done, just in today for a rumbling wheel bearing (it does get thrown round the corners at times). Other than that just plain sailing at Stage 2 :)

My 55plate is on 45000 miles now, I've done 16 of those in the last year and a bit and never had a problem. Only thing I have had done is the cambelt

'03 1.2 - 116,000 miles.

Rear bumper is fading a little now and I'm changing the auxillary belt this weekend as it is starting to slip (looks super easy on this little engine).

Apart from that, the gearbox is smooth, and the engine runs lovely.

02 PD130. 72k hit today.

Must say its seen better days, needs a new alternator and a wing replacing due to rust, turbo doesnt sound the best either.

52 plate 130 tdi sport done 69k and fast approaching 70k! Standard suspension snapped @ 50k and clutch starting to slip now but apart from that its great!!
