no recaro's and pretty high mileage but it does have full service history and 5 months tax/mot and appears to be looked after. i think what hes asking is about right/very slightly over but he may have done that on purpose to be haggled down to 6k?
If the seats are Recaro's it will be stiched into them.
That one above has a lot of miles on it, you should be able to get one with less miles for little more.

Car magazines? If you're not too worried about buying from a private seller you're going to find some bargains.
I dont mind buying from a private seller, also I dont mind high mileage as long as the car has the supporting history to back this up!!
I hope to find a 53 plate Black LCR in very good condition with OK mileage to be fair but need to keep searching I guess, will go to view a couple soon I got my eyes on!!

I wouldnt buy either on picture alone seen loads that look great but in the flesh are scratched,resprayed and have been abused within an inch of their life. Really do need to go see some, meet the owners, have a proper nosey around - better if you have a mechanically minded person and check common faults/accident damage and do a hpi check if your not sure what your buying.
just to add a bit you need to frivulous change of owners claiming to be leaving the country and all that **** and bull story.
IMHO that is a very tempting price which wont hesitate to investigate.
take a good mechanic with and never take HPI clear as cast iron proof of authenticity.

Well I've gone and done it now, never bothered with a LCR in the end, the ones within my budget wern't up to my standard.
So today I went to view a Cupra 1.8T 20V and it was MINT, well looked after and 1 owner...so have put down a deposit
