shizzel my bizzel is there any cheaper options for clutches my girlfriend would castraite me if i paid that and she found out. ive told her all the bits im getting this month cost me £400 untill my mate told her it was more like £1000 that then cost me another £100 for a bunch of flowers a meal and cinima to appoligise
That clutch is a sachs uprated unit "fitted" so if you sourced and fitted it yourself im sure you could knock maybe £200 off that but its not a fun job
Or
You could wait till yours fails and put another seat one in and wait again for that to fail They dont like the torque once remapped etc
If you are remapping then go for the sachs mate, you might not need it straight away, your standard clutch may last a while its just luck really. Im sure the sachs units are rated to 350-400lbs of torque or something so should be safe with that for a while
Heres a link for you from JBS, They are very good http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=188332
nice 1 mate cheers my cars been mapped for 2 month now and ive had no problems but im just worried that that little extra power will bring my clutch to the end lol thanks
