That's what happens if people have to much time on there hands.
The alarm on mine seems to be loud. I managed to get it to go off by locking my self in the car and trying to start it which made me jump a little bit when the alarm went off so i can't say that it wasn't loud. Mind you my old folks were in the house and couldn't hear it!

That's because the 2nd press disables the alarm completely. I'd use the motion sensor button as mentioned above as you'd still want an alarm to protect the doors or maybe not dependiong on how vicious the dog looks

How hard is vag-com to use?? I quite fancy having a play! Where do i get it from etc?

Buy a lead off ebay for a tenner then download the software from rosstech.com

The shareware version is free but limited to what you can do with it. I.E. you cant change any values like enabling the auto locking and changing the alarm noises.

All LCRs have a cat 1 alarm and some have tracker fitted standards as well!!
