I've got an 01 1.4 Seat Ibiza Chill and I really want to install an amp and some new speakers to it.

Does anyone have any advice as to what speakers and amp I should get?

Preferably I don't wan't to spend over £100 but if I need to then I'm sure I can, I have no idea what I need.

Thanks

what exactly are you after components? 6x9's ,full system? i have jbl 6x9's in mine under £30 sound good with stock up front, you can run it off the stock system or an amp which ever you prefer

i want to keep the stock head unit, i'll use a tape - ipod adaptor thingy for music. and then want some speakers that have good quality and can go a bit louder than the stock ones, i think a previous owner has damaged the stock ones cos theyre awful and start fuzzing at a rly low volume.

if that means 4 speakers attatched to the stock system then awsome, but if i need to buy an amplifier with a set of speakers then thats ok too.

I don't rly know what I need, but thats the kind of sound i want to achieve.

thanks

Ive not got an amp but ive got a alpine headunit under my steering wheel.

No idea what they would sound like coming off the standard unit but if tom w is running 6x9s off it im sure they will work fine.

the rear speakers are 4x6 and the front ones are 6.5"(17 cm)
ive got ALPINE SXE-1725S in the front on mine and it sounds pretty good especially are the higher volume

I Recently Fitted Some Kenwood 6"x9" in the front (Stock Positions) and they work really well, only set me back £40....

Small Question, What Size Do I Need For My Rear Speakers?

Cheers
