sorry, yes it is a little longer, 1/2 an inch if that.
and all still sits flush. in fact wouldn't know it had been changed.

will see if can get a pic this week, but more likely to be at weekend.

honest guys, it sits flush with everything else and you would have no idea you had swapped it over.
all i could do with a pic, is show the difference in length. the extra is in the dash, not sticking out.

will take one tonight when home and post up.
this will mind be the new one in situ, but as saod 3 time snow, you would have no idea i had changed it from looking

you will need to remove the whole centre panel to do that.
i just undid the two torx screws hidden by stereo, as enough room then to get hand and unclip old.

think hes finding excuses for the boss as to why hes ripping appart

alltho if its half a job , and was something on yer list why not

mines just an idea for now

ok, some pictures of the switch;
box details, inc part number & description;

difference in sizes;

new switch sitting flush;

removal steps;
remove stereo
remove x2 T20 torx screws on either sire
pull away the plastic stuff
hand underneath and push hard to get out
pull of the connector
reverse to put new one in

nice one and thank you - that is a massive difference - what you cannot se but fine with what you can see will look into getting one now fed up of leaving mine on - worried i will break something
