Hey guy’s, as there seems to be quite a few people waiting to pickup their new cars I thought it would be useful to have a thread so we can help others out.

Good idea, in no particular order: -

All models:
First Aid Kit
Mats - front & rear
Updates - get the dealer to process all software updates you can
Insurance - free 5 day drive away insurance should be offered

Model Dependent, if you're lucky enough to get one of the remaining VZ Editions, in addition to the above you should get: -
Tyre repair kit - space savers won't fit over the Brembo Brakes, so it's a fixing kit in a black pouch
Limited Edition Plaque with your unique number
Carbon Fibre Bracelet and Key Cover

Other possible freebies, dependent on dealer, folks are reporting a range of goodies including Cupra keyrings, Mugs, Pens and the like. No Cupra branded brollies seen (as yet) and no T-Shirts or similar in Cupra colours.

Is the Carbon key cover only for the VZ edition or should I expect one on my VZ3?

Ask for a car that works, lots of electrical gremlins with updates causing further issues, just saying.

It sounds like a lot of people have been having some issues with updates so I will ask them to make sure that they have done all the current updates. It’s a bit concerning for me as my car ordered at a Seat shopping centre store so they don’t have servicing facilities. What makes it worse for me is my 2 year old Seat Ibiza broke down yesterday and had to be recovered to the dealer I bought it from. From checking the Ibiza forum on here with the symptoms my car had it looks like either a throttle body or turbo failure. I’m left driving my 13 year old VW Touran that is being traded in for the Formentor. If my car takes long to be fixed I will be pushing for Seat to supply a loan car as my partner that uses it is a NHS key worker. I will call my dealer tomorrow as they were closed when my car was dropped off so will wonder why a car is parked against their entrance.

Hope you get sorted mate, TBF the Formentor is a very good car but these electrical glitches are tiresome. I'm sure it will all be good in the end but I don't have much patience left.
