What to do

Ok so I'm sure my turbo is on the way out so looking to replace.
What's the best options available for me. The car is standard apart from a map and exhaust and is currently running around 16psi. I'm not looking to go any higher.

So what's your suggestions please and best place to source a replacement

Imo unless you would be looking to spend a couple hundred in the near future on things like fmic etc then go for another ko3 turbo. If you are willing to get the remap updated then maybe ko3s, little more power?

Are the ko3s and ko4 a direct replacement or are other modifications needed.

How easy are the turbos to change bearing in mind I don't have a ramp.

Their pretty straight forward to do, its a direct fit, did mine with the car on front axle stands and some help. Think there's a ko3s selling on Ibiza cupra mk3 facebook group just now. Just make sure its all new gaskets, bolts, washers etc and you should be fine.
Even if your not after much more power a remap should be on the cards once its fitted

I'm not on that forum buddy. How much is he looking for. I have had a quote for a new/refurb end one for 300. That's a ko3s or that's the part number I gave them
