Need to replace the brake pads on my MK2 Cupra R. So obviously I want to give everything a blast with brake clean and get off as much cr@p as I can whilst the wheels off and caliper in pieces.
Thing I don't get is, a lot of articles say to use a wire brush. I looked at one on Amazon and it said "great for removing paint". Um, I'd like to keep the red paint on my calipers. So should I be looking at a nylon scrubbing brush or is that still too harsh?
