Had the tyre pressure warning pop up last week and according to my gauge my 225/40x18s are 45psi, which seems a bit high to me! My gauge isn't normally that off.
Google around the net shows some of the Audi boys have a sticker in the door shut indicating pressures for a range of tyre sizes. All I could find was the inside of the filler flap which didnt refer to any particular size of tyre - pretty sure it didn't say 45psi either!

Does anyone know what pressure I should be running? (at work so can't RTFM)

I've been running 34psi this is what the tyre man put in last week after 4new ones fitted. Jesus with 45psi you could hit a twig and have a blow out lol. Only messing not that serious but drop em down mate. If you look on the door pillar or handbook it should tell you. Mine states 32 front and 29 rear.

The ones on the fuel filler are right for the spec of your car.

You have the same as me, in the exeo the recommended pressures are a bit low, causes outer edgewear.

I'd say put them to around about 35

my sensors come on nearly every month, really annoying, i put 33 all round

Pump them up to whatever you want them to be, drive for a mile or two and then press and hold the button next to the hand brake.

This sets the system to know the current tyre pressure is what you want it at.

And just so you know, unlike PSA stuff, these don't have sensors in each wheel, it uses the abs and esp system to work out the rotational difference of the wheel to calculate if your tyre is losing pressure.

Depending on load and driving conditions I have mine anywhere between 36 and 40psi.

For example, got a couple of long motorway runs coming over the next couple of days (will put about 1500 miles on) with a fully loaded boot, so topped all four corners to 40psi, reset the system as per Asonda's post, checked the wear and am good to go.

I normally have the tyres at a reasonable level in the high 30's as this seems to give the most even wear. I am getting 20K out of my fronts with even wear and 30K out of the rears.

i use what it says in the filler cap which is as the above picture, they do look a little under inflated by they drive ok and have worn evenly so far.
